the Green Economy
What do we mean when we talk about the BIFOUR project?
It is a project for the synthesis of Biomethane from Biohydrogen produced with Bistadium anaerobic Biodigestion.
This makes it possible and promotes the valorization of waste through its transformation into energy. This is an extremely important and sensitive subject in terms of Green Economy and, more generally, environmental impact.
moltosenso has long been active as a technology partner in research and development projects in the field of Green Technologies and for this reason has also actively participated in the BIFOUR project.
For more than 10 years it has been working with all types of organizations on the path of R&D and digitalization and process optimization.
In moltosenso we believe, in fact, that every company and every project can and should have access to innovative technological solutions, designed in a personalized way, that allow to identify the benefits that digitalization and process optimization can provide.
The BIFOUR project, funded by POR FESR 2014-2020 of Regione Piemonte, has seen the participation of moltosenso in a partnership composed by AgoRen (lead partner), Environment Park and the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) of Politecnico di Torino as research institutions and Hysytech.
What is the main objective of the BIFOUR project?
As mentioned, the objective of the BIFOUR project was the study of biomethane synthesis processes from biohydrogen produced by bistadium anaerobic biodigestion (hence the acronym of BiFour project). All this to promote new forms of energy that can also benefit the Green Economy.
Accordingly, moltosenso has developed a methodology for the control and forecasting of biomethane production, identifying – in each context – the most appropriate pipeline combination of chemical and biological methanation processes.
It is positive that technology and ecology meet, in order to promote a dynamic change that the whole territory can certainly benefit from. Moreover, moltosenso has always collaborated on projects that promote the environment, people and the Green Economy.
Data analysis and process digitazation
Within the project, the validation of the results allowed to create also new interesting scenarios for the Green Economy, based on biohydrogen production prospects. The result of this project was the analysis of process optimization and, at the same time, the creation of new outcomes, useful for the future of the green hydrogen.
moltosenso is proud to have contributed to the definition of a paradigm of greater environmental sustainability.
Gas flow purification technologies during biohydrogen production are supported by careful data analysis throughout the entire process. This allows the creation of new opportunities both for the companies concerned and for the territory.
The solution: a full web-dashboard
moltosenso, backed by its experience in monitoring and data analysis, has provided the consortium with a control panel (web-dashboard). In addition, a process analysis panel, inspired by the increased digitalization of the industrial processes.

Our software and hardware developments incorporate state of the art Big Data Analytics and Business Intelligence technologies, taking the company to a new level.
